With this release we introduce the following:
Lyris HQ Triggers
Triggered messages enable you to establish rules and conditions you can use to send a message based on events that Lyris HQ captures. This includes events such as being added to a list or when attributes change on a contact's profile. This feature provides the ability to create messages that will be sent to contacts when certain criteria are met.
Release 3.9 (March 2015)
With this current release we introduce the following two features.
Note: You need to have the Advanced Delivery Management Console to be able to use either of these products. Please contact your customer service representative for more information.
Advanced Engagement Analytics attributes enable you to more effectively segment and communicate with your customers. This feature provides information on which device, operating system and email client is being used, as well as location. This enables you to target segments of your mailing list more precisely.
Reputation Monitor 2.1
With Reputation Monitor, you can monitor your sending reputation in one glance, without having to learn all the intricacies of analyzing a sending reputation. This application provides scores, trends, metrics, and other features to help you keep your mailing performance at an optimum. Help Documentation is provided in the product as a sliding drawer on the right hand side of the screen.
Release 3.8.1 (August 2014)
In this release we introduce the following new feature:
A/B Split Test Messaging enables you to generate multiple versions of your message to be sent out randomly to subsets of your mailing list. It then automatically or manually selects a winning version based on your set criteria. The version that is the most successful can then be sent out to your entire mailing list. This feature is very powerful, as it helps you create a better and more effective email campaign.
Release 3.7 (May 2014)
In this release we added the following new reports:
Email Preview replaces Inbox Snapshot. Email Preview enables you to view your test messages in more clients than were available before, as in Email Client, Desktop, Mobile, and Other. The different clients available are updated on a regular basis and are easier to view.
- Spam Filter replaces Content Analyzer. You can now run your test message through multiple server-side and ISP spam filters, as well as receive the results broken down by each filter. Each filter section gives you a pass or fail score along with recommendations on how to proceed.
In this release, we made the following enhancements.
Lyris HQ has received a fresh new visual design with the Lyris HQ 3.6 release.
With new user permission, administrators can limit access to standard templates so that customers just have access to the templates created by their design teams.
Prior to Lyris HQ 3.5, if a message contained multiple links with the same URL, any clicks to that URL would be attributed to the first instance of the URL in the Visual Message Report. The product has been modified such that each link in the message will have the correct attribution.
In this release, we made the following enhancements.
Responsive Design Templates are new email templates that have been coded to look great in either a desktop email client like Outlook or on a mobile device. The new mobile-ready templates will dynamically render optimized for the screen size of the device used to view them.
Unique Identifier on Proof Messages: The Proof Message feature has been enhanced to include a new unique identifier to distinguish one version of a proof message from another. This feature allows marketers to more easily manage their internal workflow and approval process and ensure the correct message is the one that will be sent.
Reports Overview Enhancement: Additional columns have been added to the Reports Overview to make it even easier to track the performance of messages sent to different segments. The Report Overview now includes the Message Name and the Segment data in both the interface as well as the downloaded data.
Release 3.4 (December 2011)
In this release, we made the following enhancements.
- You can extend the reach of your brand and messaging from within Lyris HQ by posting directly to Facebook and Twitter using the new Social Media Panel. Streamlined integration allows you to stay in context of your messaging campaign, whether it is social media messaging or more traditional email marketing. The Social Media Panel also includes a URL shortener so you can make the most of your tweets.
- New enhancers for Facebook Like, Facebook Share, Twitter and LinkedIn Share make it easier to customize the look and feel of your messages. In addition, you can create segments based on recipients who clicked these enhancers, making it possible to target recipients who expressed a strong interest in your brand.
- The new message creation workflow, designed as a result of direct client feedback, reduces the amount of time and effort it takes to create and send a message. The redesign provides both improved performance in the workflow and ease-of-use enhancements in the interface.
Release 3.3 (October 2011)
In this release, we resolved numerous issues.
Release 3.2 (July 2011)
Note: We have changed the naming convention of our updates. Now, we refer to updates by their release number rather than the date. As a result, we refer to the current release as 3.2.

- Edit a suppression list and add email addresses directly in the suppression list.
- Search for a specific email address within a suppression list.
- Delete a specific email address from a suppression list.
- View a summary of uploaded addresses.
We also added support for selecting a language when signing into Lyris HQ.
Fixed issues
In this release, we resolved the following issues:
- Firefox 4.0 issues during the Message Edit step.
With this release, email message content opens in the Rich Text Editor, and you can use the Rich Text Editor to edit email message content.
- Uploading a file that contains UTF-8 encoded characters sometimes resulted in corrupted data.
- When you attempted to add a domain in the ClickTracks Integration section in EmailLabs, EmailLabs produced the following error: A user with that email has already been created!
- When you selected Quoted Printable encoding when creating a message, Lyris HQ did not save the encoding change.
- Under some circumstances, the Link Validation tab of the Content Analyzer report showed links for the wrong message.
- You could not edit or delete values of Select List, Radio Button, and Multiple Checkbox attributes.
- Changing automatic reply handling to Forward message retaining user’s email and original subject line resulted in the following error:
- If you made the change in Lyris HQ, EmailLabs did not reflect the change.
- If you made the change in EmailLabs, no automatic reply handling option was selected in Lyris HQ.
