What's New for January 2009
This page highlights the most recent changes that we have made to improve your experience with Lyris HQ, including enhancements to the look and feel of the product and those that simplify the work flow for you.
IMPORTANT Lyris has improved the user experience and security in our admin and user settings pages for Web Analytics and ClickTracks in this upgrade. If you experience difficulty with your permissions, please contact our customer support and your problem will be corrected.
Email Marketing
- Mobile Message Rendering
Due to the growing use of mobile devices to read email messages, we have incorporated the first of many mobile renderings within the Inbox SnapShot module of Lyris HQ's EmailAdvisor. This highly-requested feature allows you to preview how your email messages will render on Blackberry Storm phones.
- Asset Library - Multiple Image Upload and Keyword Tagging
Upload and manage images, documents and other assets for your marketing campaigns using the new Asset Library. To access it, simply select "Asset Library" from the Email Marketing menu on the left. To find your assets quickly, you can now tag them with as many keywords as you want, and assign them to more than one folder. Rest assured that all of your pre-existing email marketing assets from the old Content Library are now available in the new Asset Library, and the folders they were in have been automatically saved as tags.
Search Marketing
- Faster Keyword Research Queries
Lyris HQ now provides up to 1,000 keyword query results to help you get even better results from the "long tail" (i.e., keywords that generate low traffic with high conversion rates). You can also research keywords based on Alternative Spellings and Similar Keywords to get the most out of your search marketing campaigns.
Web Analytics
- Manage Datasets within Lyris HQ
All administrative settings from the Web analytics viewer have now been moved into the Lyris HQ settings area.
As Lyris HQ continues to mature, we hope that you will find these new improvements to be instantly useful to your marketing initiatives.
Happy New Year,
Chris Adams
