What's New for May 2009
General
What’s New
- For agencies, the new Agency Email Report compares the email campaign results of your clients. The Report provides a quick visual display for easy comparison and allows export of the data (deliverability rate, open rate and CTR). The Report is located in the Reports section of Email Marketing.
- Twitterific Tweeting power! You can further monitor and respond to tweets directly from the Dashboard. This lets you reply to tweets and view each sender’s profile.
Search Marketing
What’s New
- Flexible date range filters on all reports. The long awaited feature that allows custom date range filters is here! You can now make decisions about changing bids and other settings based on a complete picture of performance over time – you can now quickly and easily choose any date range for any Lyris Search Marketing screen. Also, the trend graph will now display daily data for the complete date range you select.
- Resizeable columns. On report pages, you can resize columns to whatever width you want. If the total width of all the columns is greater than that of the screen, a horizontal scroll bar appears below the table. You can drag the scroll bar to the right to see columns not showing on the screen. The first column in the Table is separated from the other columns by a black line and does not scroll (similar to the behavior of an Excel spreadsheet), so you'll always know which item a metric aligns with.
Web Analytics
What’s Changed
- Proof and test emails from Email Marketing are now automatically excluded from analytics data in legacy ClickTracks reports and the ClickTracks and Lyris HQ Viewers. This makes the Campaign Report easier to read and understand.
- GeoIP Databases have been updated.
- The Web Analytics data engine has been updated to capture Internet Explorer 6 & 7 data with URLs that are longer than 2kb.
Web Analytics
What’s New
- Login/Login stickiness of last dataset viewed. For clients with multiple Web Analytics datasets, the last one that was used will be the first one viewed upon next login.
- KPI stickiness has been implemented. The KPIs that were chosen are now kept when jumping between Web Analytics reports.
Customer Support
What’s Changed
- Online Help now features a “Getting Started” FAQ topic for each of the following: Account Management, Email Marketing, Web Analytics, Search Marketing, and Content Management. These topics contain answers to the most frequently-asked Lyris HQ questions as determined by our Account Management team. You can access the topics, and other Getting Started information, from our newly-expanded online Help Welcome page.
We hope you enjoy these additions to the Lyris HQ platform and encourage you to send us your feedback on these features or anything else that is on your mind. Stay tuned in the coming months for many exciting additions including more great email and search marketing capabilities, and some amazing landing page tools that are well into development.
