On Windows NT and Windows 95, Lyris List Manager can run as a service. For these options, the usage is:

    lyris argument

In the above example, you would substitute "argument" with one of the options for installing and removing the Lyris List Manager service:

-Install
Install Lyris List Manager as a self-starting Windows NT service. For Windows NT only. Lyris List Manager will then be listed in the "Services" control panel, as a service automatically started up at boot time. You can start and stop the Lyris List Manager service from the "Services" control panel. The service runs in the background, so you will not see if on your desktop. Note: Once the service is installed, you can start it on the command line with the command "net start lyris". Similarly, you can stop the Lyris List Manager service on the command line with the command "net stop lyris".

-Install95
Install Lyris List Manager as a self-starting Windows 95 service. For Windows 95 only. The next time you reboot, Lyris List Manager will automatically start up at the Login screen. It will be running in the foreground, as a normal program. The advantage of installing it as a Windows 95 service is that if your system accidentally reboots, Lyris List Manager will automatically start up again. If Lyris List Manager is running on Windows 95 and is not a service, you need to log in to Windows 95 in order for it to run.

-Remove
If Lyris List Manager is currently installed as a Windows NT service, then remove it.

-Remove95
If Lyris List Manager is currently installed as a Windows 95 service, then remove it.
