Purge Recipients from What Lists?
ListManager allows you to remove or purge recipients who have received previous messages. For example, let's say you want to test the effectiveness of your message by sending it to half of your list. Later, you'd like to send a message to the list members who haven't received the first message. You can purge the recipients of the previous message, so your members only receive one message from you.
This setting selects which lists from which to purge recipients. The default is no purging. If one or more lists is selected here, the user will then be prompted to select messages from these lists whose recipients should not receive the current message. Note: Archives must be kept, and Save Recipient Info in List Info must be set to “Yes, save the recipient info with each archived message” to be able to purge recipients.
Purging recipients is a feature of ListManager Pro, and is unavailable for standard ListManager. Contact your account representative at sales@lyris.com if you'd like to upgrade to ListManager Pro.
