Advanced Message Send (1 of 2)
This page allows you to specify which lists or subsets to mail to, whether to purge recipients, and limit the number of recipients.
For example, let's say you'd like to send a mailing to your entire customer base, but in the past you've found the number of orders you received overwhelmed your sales staff. In the Advanced Message Send area, you can determine the Maximum Number of Recipients, so only a random selection of your list receives your mailing.
How do you send a message to only those people who didn't receive your first mailing? You may opt to Purge Recipients of the earlier mailing, so your members only receive the message once.
These features are very useful if you are testing a campaign, and want to send to only a portion of your list to gauge its effectiveness. Later, you can send to the rest of the list, but purge out the "test" section.
