HTML Editor Tutorial: Part 3

 

 

Changing the Color of Text

 

1.      Type the following:

 

           This line has red text with a yellow background

 

           and then press ENTER.

 

2.      Select the line you just typed, and then click the Text Color button.

3.      Click the bright red color patch.

4.      Click the Background Color button

           HTML editor tools/background_text_color_button.gif

 

           and then click the bright yellow color patch.

 

5.      Click below the line you just changed to deselect it.

 

Inserting a Table

 

1.      Click the Insert/Edit Table button.

2.      In the Table Properties dialog, choose the following settings:

 

     Rows: 8

     Columns: 4

     Width: 50 percent

 

3.      Click OK.

 

Changing Table Properties

 

1.      Right-click the table, and then select Table Properties.

2.      In the Caption box, type:

 

           This is the Table Caption

 

3.      Change the Border Size to 2.

4.      Click OK.
