Sending, Scheduling, and Stopping Messages

After you create and test the message, you can send it immediately or schedule it for future delivery.

To open the Schedule page

1. Do one of the following:

  1. On the Edit Message page click 4. Schedule Delivery at the top of the page.
  1. On the Test Message page, click Next: Schedule Delivery.

The Schedule page opens.  

Note: The Message Summary section shows whether your messages are signed with DKIM/DomainKeys, including any errors in your DKIM/DomainKeys setup. To send a message immediately

1. On the Schedule page, make sure Immediately is selected.

2. Optionally, if you do not want to generate the Delivery Monitor report, clear the Delivery Monitor checkbox.

Tip: For more information about this report, see Delivery Monitor.

3. Optionally, to send the message to additional recipients, type their email addresses in the BCC field.

Note: These recipients will not be added to any lists.

4. Click Launch Message.

A confirmation message opens.

5. Click Yes.

The Confirmation page opens.

Tip: To stop the message, click Stop Delivery of Message.

6. Click Close & Return to Messages.

Your message is sent and the Messages page opens. The message status changes to Sent.

To schedule a message for future delivery

1. On the Schedule page, select Later.

The Calendar is enabled.

2. Select the delivery date and time from the calendar.

3. Optionally, if you do not want to generate the Delivery Monitor report, clear the Delivery Monitor checkbox.

4. Optionally, to send the message to additional recipients, type their email addresses in the BCC field.

Note: These recipient will not be added to any lists.

5. Click Launch Message.

A confirmation message opens.

6. Click Yes.

The Confirmation page opens.

7. Click Close & Return to Messages.

Your message is scheduled and the Messages page opens. The message status changes to Scheduled.

Tip: To stop the message, click Stop Delivery of Message.

To stop a scheduled message

You can stop any message with the Scheduled status.

1. On the Navigation bar, click Email Marketing then Messages.

The Messages page opens, displaying a list of all available messages.

2. Optionally, to see only scheduled messages, select Scheduled from the Status drop down list.

3. Point at the message you want and click Stop.

The scheduled delivery is canceled and the message status changes to Waiting to be Scheduled.
