Supported Platforms and Database Servers

 

With the exception of MSDE (Windows), Lyris ListManager connects to and uses your database. Lyris Technologies does not provide technical support for installation, use or maintenance of PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle. Contact your database vendor for more information about support for these databases.

 

ListManager has been tested using 32 bit machines.

Windows

Windows 2000/XP/2003 Standard Server

 

Note: Windows 2003 Server Web edition is not supported for Microsoft SQL server, as Microsoft SQL Client Tools cannot be installed on this platform.

 

Database Servers

    MSDE (Included with ListManager)

    Microsoft SQL Server 2000

    Oracle 9.2.0.1 (using 32 bit client toolset)

    Oracle 10.1.0.2 (using 32 bit client toolset)

Linux

    Red Hat Linux ES, AS, and WS versions 2.1 and 3.0

 

Note: Fedora core is not supported.

 

Database Servers

    PostgreSQL 8.0.3 (Other versions of PostgreSQL are not supported)

    Oracle 9.2.0.1 (using 32 bit client toolset)

    Oracle 10.1.0.2 (using 32 bit client toolset)

 

Important PostgreSQL Note: earlier versions of ListManager supported PostgreSQL 7.1.3 or PostgreSQL 7.3 only. To upgrade to ListManager 8.9 using PostgreSQL, you will need to upgrade your version of PostgreSQL in order to have ListManager run properly.

Solaris

    Solaris for Sparc 8

Note: ListManager has been tested on Solaris SPARC 8. According to Sun, applications which run on Solaris 8 will also run on 9 and 10.

 

Database Servers

    Oracle 9.2.0.1 (using 9i 32 bit client toolset)

    Oracle 10.1.0.2 (using 9i 32 bit client toolset)

Web Browsers

    Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 2
