Supported Platforms and Database Servers
Database Server Note: Although ListManager may be used with older database servers, its performance
is significantly enhanced by using one of the newer database servers: MSDE, Microsoft SQL Server 2000,
PostgreSQL 7.4.2 or Oracle 9i.
With the exception of MSDE (Windows), Lyris ListManager connects to and uses your database. Lyris
Technologies does not provide technical support for installation, use or maintenance of PostgreSQL, MS
SQL, or Oracle. Contact your database vendor for more information about support for these databases.

Note: Windows 2003 Server Web edition is not supported for Microsoft SQL server, as Microsoft SQL Client Tools cannot be installed on this platform.

Important PostgreSQL Note: earlier versions of ListManager supported PostgreSQL 7.1.3 or PostgreSQL 7.3 only. To upgrade to ListManager 8.0 using PostgreSQL, you will need to upgrade your version of PostgreSQL to 7.4 in order to have ListManager run properly.
